In today's fast-paced world, people are increasingly relying on digital tools to make their lives easier and more convenient. This includes everything from ordering food to managing their finances.
This project involves not only creating a user-friendly interface but also considering the unique needs of athletes who require specific nutrition for optimal performance. By designing a food delivery app that caters to Ana's needs, we can create a solution that truly stands out in the competitive market and provides value to its users. This project highlights the importance of understanding user needs and designing digital experiences that meet those needs in a meaningful way. By creating digital experiences that are both functional and enjoyable to use, we can improve people's lives and make a positive impact on the world.

We started of with this Brief:
Design a food delivery app capable to answer the new and rising needs of consumers, while truly standing out in an already crowded and competitive market.
Food delivery apps are very popular and is a convinient means for people to order meals at the comfort of their homes with various options. These apps aim to cater to all individuals who want to easily acces meals on their phone that align with their lifestyle and needs.
We were given our certain personas to design this experience for:

Athletes require a lot of energy and nutrients to stay in shape. Because of this, a strict diet plans can hurt their performance.

We went through a customer journey map to gain a better understanding of our target audience and their needs. The map helped us visualize the steps involved in a customer's interaction with the product, allowing us to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance the customer experience. Through this process, we were able to identify pain points, moments of delight, and other key touchpoints, which helped us refine the product's design and functionality. By going through the customer journey map, we were able to create a more user-centric product that truly meets the needs of our customers.

In addition to the customer journey map, we also created a service blueprint to further refine the product's design and functionality. The service blueprint allowed us to identify the various touchpoints between the customer and the service provider, such as the ordering process, payment, and delivery. This helped us visualize the entire process and understand how different departments and stakeholders interact with each other and the customer.
We used the service blueprint to identify potential bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in the service delivery process. We also used it to design solutions that would streamline the process, improve the customer experience, and increase the overall efficiency of the service. By incorporating the insights from the service blueprint into our design, we were able to create a more efficient and effective service that met the needs of both our customers and stakeholders.

During the design process, we also created a task flow to map out the specific steps that a user would need to take to complete a particular task within the product. The task flow allowed us to identify potential roadblocks, confusion points, and pain points within the user journey and streamline the process for the user.
We used the task flow to identify areas of the product that required improvement, such as navigation, ease of use, and clarity of instructions. By analyzing the task flow, we could make adjustments to the design to improve the overall user experience, making it more intuitive and efficient for the user to complete their tasks.
By creating a clear and efficient task flow, we could help users accomplish their goals quickly and effectively, which in turn increased the likelihood of their continued engagement with the product. Ultimately, the task flow helped us create a product that was not only visually appealing but also user-friendly and easy to use.

After completing the research and design process, we moved into the prototyping phase. We used the insights from the customer journey map, service blueprint, and task flow to create a low-fidelity prototype, which allowed us to test the product's functionality and usability in a real-world context.
During the prototyping phase, we focused on creating a product that was easy to use and navigate, while also meeting the specific needs of our target audience. We tested the prototype with a select group of users and solicited feedback to identify areas that required further refinement.

Based on user feedback, we made adjustments to the prototype and iterated on the design until we arrived at a high-fidelity prototype that met the needs of our users. This allowed us to test the final product in a more realistic context, gather additional feedback, and make any final adjustments before launching the product.
By going through the prototyping phase, we were able to create a product that was not only visually appealing but also functional, user-friendly, and met the specific needs of our target audience.

These are some of the comments we received, and what adjustments we made:

In conclusion, designing a food delivery app for Ana was an exciting and rewarding project. By focusing on the unique needs of our target audience and incorporating insights from customer journey mapping, service blueprinting, task flows, and usability testing, we were able to create a user-friendly and functional app that meets the specific needs of triathletes.
Going through the prototyping and usability testing phases allowed us to refine the design and create a product that is optimized for ease of use and meets the needs of our users. We are confident that this app will provide real value to its users and stand out in the competitive food delivery market.
This project underscores the importance of understanding user needs and designing digital experiences that meet those needs in a meaningful way. By creating digital experiences that are both functional and enjoyable to use, we can improve people's lives and make a positive impact on the world.
We are excited to continue developing and refining this app and look forward to seeing it make a positive impact on the lives of triathletes and other users alike.
